Life Stuff
What do you do at RMG:
I am the team’s SEO analyst and I provide valuable insights into client performance as well as upcoming changes so that the team is always prepared with the knowledge they need to respond accurately no matter the situation.
Favorite thing about your job:
I like to say that data tells a story. When you look at a trend you can often find why something has changed. Finding what that is and finding the answers to user behavior is my favorite part of working as a data analyst for RMG.
What was your first job:
My first job started me off with humble beginnings as a hair salon sweeper boy working with my mother way back in the day. Looking back now it’s good to see how far hard work can get you.
In elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up:
When I was little there was nothing I wanted more than to be a construction worker. Growing up with Bob the Builder inspired my drive to build. Nowadays that inspiration continues through my desire to build brands and achieve new heights through data analysis.
What is your earliest memory:
The earliest thing I can remember is the day that we got our first dog. Her name was Fifi and she came to us in a cardboard box as a gift from my grandmother when Fifi was only a little puppy.
What’s your favorite family tradition:
There are few things that bring me as much joy as Thanksgiving dinner with the family. There’s nothing quite like having everyone together with great food and some delicious turkey to share around.
What is a fun or interesting thing about your hometown:
If you’ve ever been to the RMG office then you may know that the downtown strip is the place to be at night. Live music and local restaurant food made fresh every Friday is a great delight you can’t get just anywhere.
Food Stuff
What is your favorite cereal:
It would be easier to decide which cereals I don’t like because I love it all. Something about the crunch is like having the munch of a potato chip paired with the sweetness of a pastry. Honestly what’s not to love!
How do you like your eggs:
Scrambled or bust! (Not really, omelets are pretty great.)
What is your go-to Starbucks order:
I honestly never know what is going on with the Starbucks menu. Please just give me a coffee!
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be:
Some kind of pasta or lasagna. It’s amazing and it covers all of your bases! (Kind of…but it is amazingly delicious.)
Favorite Stuff
Favorite band/musician:
When you enjoy a wide variety of genres like I do it can be difficult to decide on just one artist that stands out to you, but for me there is Tom Misch. There is no one who consistently delivers just the right rhythm and beats I need to get me through the day.
Favorite movie:
My favorite movie would have to be Avengers Infinity War and to some extent Avengers Endgame as they are essentially two parts to the same story. I have fond memories of these films not only for the content itself, but due to the fond memories I made with friends on our outings to the theater.
Favorite actor/actress:
Slap aside, Will Smith is pretty great and I love his movies. If I had to pick a favorite actor it would likely be him thanks to his happy demeanor and great disposition.
Favorite sports team:
I prefer to play sports so I am not much of a sports fan if you can believe that. If I had to choose one I would say the Lakers because LA all the way!
Favorite TV show:
“When the man has got you down you Better Call Saul!”
Favorite superpower:
Imagine being able to read the minds of the people around you. Wouldn’t it be amazing to always know exactly what to say? Yeah, I think so too. =]
Favorite social media network:
No other social media platform has had an impact quite like YouTube. You can find so many tutorials and useful insights there that it’s like having the collective know-how of the world at your command. It’s not only useful but super entertaining as well.
Top three favorite apps:
My top three apps are easily YouTube, Discord, and Twitter. I can get my entertainment and share my thoughts all tightly packed bundles.
Hobby & Travel Stuff
What are your hobbies:
Have you ever seen a trading card character and wondered who designed that? Well, I’ve never made a trading card myself, but the medieval fantasy style artwork is exactly what I like to do in my free time. (Now if only the boss would read the email with my artwork in it…)
What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time:
See above! Honestly though, the truly nerdiest thing I do in my free time would be looking at twitter and google analytics for friends as well as conducting my own home made surveys to find what content my friends and fans enjoy the most.
Can you play any instruments:
I used to play the guitar. It all started when I thought it would make me irresistible to ladies back in the day. I know a few chords today, but I’m definitely a bit rusty.
Do you collect anything:
Only my grey hairs from university.
What are the last three books you read:
The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holiday, How to Draw by Scott Robertson, and Force Dynamic Life Drawing by Micheal D Mattes
Most recent vacation:
Hawaii and the Maui island specifically!
What’s your favorite city/state/country you’ve ever visited:
I have been to Hawaii a few times and every time I have loved it. My favorite island was Maui and I would love to go back!

Definitely Nikola Tesla. Why? His mindset was so out of the box that surely I could learn a whole new way of seeing the world from him.

I usually don’t shop too much, but when I do I love to buy gadgets and upgrades for my PC setup. If I could max out a credit card on computer parts for free I definitely would.

Auto-hemophobia! What is that? The intense fear of one’s own blood!

My self confidence and my communication skills are my favorite part about myself because it allows me to better connect with people and build long lasting bonds.
Have you had your 15 minutes of fame yet:
Not, yet and I never plan to because I want to be timeless.
